Empowering Project Rescue’s Global Network With Real-Time, Cross-Partner Reporting

Project Rescue is a multinational network of partners serving women and child survivors of sexual exploitation and slavery across Southern Asia, Europe, Central Eurasia, Africa, Latin America, and the Asia Pacific. Since 1997, their mission has been to rescue and restore victims of sexual exploitation through culturally informed, holistic care rooted in compassion and faith.
The network includes a wide variety of local organizations that offer prevention, intervention, and restoration programs. These programs range from street outreach and feeding programs to aftercare homes, medical outreach, literacy classes, vocational support, and church-based community care.
As Project Rescue expanded, its resource office needed a reliable and unified way to see activity data across dozens of partners whose program models and reporting requirements vary widely from country to country. SureImpact provides a single, real-time system that brings partners together for data collection and reporting.
The Challenge
Before adopting SureImpact, Project Rescue relied heavily on relational reporting from their global partners. Local ministries would share basic activity counts such as how many people they were ministering to, how many outreach interactions had taken place, or how many schools or community groups they were connected with.
While partners did submit numbers, the resource office often lacked clarity about what those numbers represented, how they compared across programs, or what outcomes they reflected in the lives of survivors. Because each partner used its own methods to track and communicate activity, Project Rescue received reports that were inconsistent and difficult to interpret. Leaders knew powerful work was happening, but without consistent evaluation tools they had no way to translate those stories and activities into meaningful, comparable data. This made it challenging to communicate network-wide results to pastors, donors, and church partners who increasingly expect clear evidence of impact.
As Executive Director Jennifer Barratt explained, “In this day and age, it’s not enough just to tell a good story. Pastors want data, and with SureImpact I can just open my dashboard and the data is there.”
The Solution: SureImpact for Collaboratives
SureImpact gave Project Rescue the collaborative infrastructure they needed to bring dozens of global partners into one consistent, real-time reporting system. As the network continues to grow, leaders have a clear way to compare activities and communicate progress to pastors, donors, and church partners. For Project Rescue, the platform serves as a single source of truth for global activity reporting, while still giving each local ministry the flexibility to track the measures that matter most to their unique programs.
Cindy Mikeal, the Program Assessment and Resource Lead at Project Rescue, shared how valuable this flexibility has been for their network. “It is so helpful that the system lets me customize everything myself,” she explained. “I can spend several hours creating the exact measures we need, and I don’t have to rely on anyone else to do it.”
With these tailored measures in place, Project Rescue can ask deeper questions about their work, including whether the activities they are investing in are actually effective. They are able to look across programs, countries, and service models to understand what is working and where additional support or strategy adjustments might be needed. What previously felt like disconnected activity reports have become actionable insights the global team can rely on.
Barratt shared, “The numbers look completely different now. Before SureImpact, we had no real proof of the difference we were making. Today, I can open the system and see clear, reliable data right away, and that is incredibly exciting.”
